Every year about this time we stop to peacefully transition from one club president to another, and to celebrate the special fellowship we share as a Rotarians in Glenwood Springs. Charter Night was celebrated at the Iron Bridge Club House on Friday, June 26 along with many partners and guests. In all we totaled 35 and had a delicious dinner featuring poached salmon and prime rib.

We toasted Jim and his hard work over the year. Jim had some ambitious goals and he thanked the club for support, guidance, and encouragement as he embraced the role. Jim took a moment to thank three very hardworking fellow Rotarians - Nick Adams, Brad Plantz, and Charlene Revoir - who are consistently giving of themselves to keep our club operating smoothly. Thank you!!! !
We also helped Stig Svedberg, incoming President, don the traditional set of chaps - the club's leadership mantle. It's clear that Stig did not grow up with the chap experience, but he enthusiastically embraced the opportunity! We look forward to a full year of activity under Stig's enthusiastic leadership.

We welcome President Stig to the head of our band of westerners and will follow where he leads. It was a wonderful night with so much fellowship.
